BEFORE ordering products ...
HERE ARE SOME POINTS TO REMEMBER:
- The clean, light look of Sisterlocks is due in part to our "less-is-more" approach to product usage. Never overload the locks with excess product, or apply products too frequently. ALWAYS AVOID HEAVY, OIL-BASED PRODUCTS! Ask your Consultant for maintenance advice.
- Sisterlocks products are non-residue producing. They wash out completely each time you properly shampoo.
- Proper shampooing techniques are as important as using the proper products. Ask your Consultant to review our shampooing procedures with you if you are unsure about your technique.
- Conditions like excessive dryness/breakage/dandruff, etc. may relate to medical or general health issues. In addition to selecting the right products, also focus on lifestyle changes that address these other issues. Always seek the guidance of your medical professional, holistic health practitioner and/or trichologist.

Our Starter Shampoo is a required component of the Sisterlocks process. Now made with abundant botanicals, it is gentler and more effective than ever. Apply directly to scalp at 2-inch intervals. We recommend using it exclusively until the locks have settled in. Some even continue to use it indefinitely because it is simply a great shampoo! |

Salon Aloe

Our Salon Aloe Shampoo is a Concentrate
Makes up to 3 8-oz. bottles. Contains Aloe plus 12 botanicals Apply directly to scalp at 2-inch intervals. Its slightly acidic pH works best in looser textured hair. Deep-cleans and moisturizes. Dilute with up to 2-parts water per 1-part shampoo. (8-oz.) |
Green Tea

Our Green Tea Shampoo is a Concentrate
Makes up to 3 8-oz. bottles. Contains Aloe plus 10 botanicals Apply directly to scalp at 2-inch intervals. This shampoo has a mildly alkaline pH. Works best in tightly-coiled hair that is often hard to soften and moisturize. Dilute with up to 2-parts water per 1-part shampoo. (8-oz.) |

Dandruff

Our Dandruff Shampoo is a Concentrate Makes up to 2 8-oz. bottles. Soothes the scalp with powerful anti-dandruff results. Apply directly to scalp at 2-inch intervals. May dilute with up to 50% water for easier distribution without decreasing effectiveness. (8-oz.) |

Moisture

Our Moisture Treatment is our most popular maintenance product.
Works well on the scalp and hair. Its cold cream consistency works easily and completely into the hair. OR, dilute with 2-4 parts water per 1-part product, and spray throughout the locks. Softens hair and washes out completely with every shampooing. (NOTE: Over-moisturizing can cause curl sets to droop.) (8-oz.) |
Reconstructor

Strengthens the
hair shafts. Use periodically on fragile and color-treated hair. Apply liberally after shampooing to hair only (not scalp). Use plastic cap or towel cover to naturally ‘steam’ for 30-minutes - or under dryer 10 minutes. (8-oz.) |
Herbal

Setting

Use very sparingly on clean, slightly-damp hair.
The aloe in this product is a very effective moisturizer. Using too much can cause longer drying and setting times. Apply a small amount along the length of the hair and style using any method. Make sure to dry the hair completely to achieve the tightest set. (4-oz.) |
