Our Training Program is TOPS in the

No other company offers private certification in a trademarked system that has its own product line, and offers several levels of training. We also offer re-training opportunities, as well as maintenance classes for clients and specialty classes for all levels of skill. Sisterlocks trains in over 35 locations throughout the year.

Types of Classes (Click on links to learn more and enroll)
  • BLENDED Consultant Training Class: This is our core class. Approx. 35 hours of online and face-to-face coursework. It prepares Trainees for becoming Certified Sisterlocks Consultants to represent our trademarked hair locking system.
  • Refresher classes (face-to-face or online): This class is for those already trained already trained in our system who want to refresh their skills.
  • Advanced Refresher class (scheduled periodically): Accelerated Refresher Class for previously trained practitioners. Class touches briefly on ALL major topics. 
  • Retightening class: Clients wanting to learn how to perform regular maintenance on their own Sisterlocks will want to take this class. It teaches each student their specific retightening technique. This information is not transferrable to other individuals. No troubleshooting, starting new locks or lock repair is taught in this class.
  • R-Certification class: Only active Certified Consultants are eligible to take this class. It is designed for those who want to be able to teach re-tightening to their clients.
